Managerial Accounting
Aim
To enable students to :
Develop aworking knowledge of managerial accounting techniques and concepts
Develop spreedsheet design skills
Evaluate and present management information
Learning outcome :
By the end of the module students will be able to :
Demonstrate an understanding of key managerial accounting concepts and techniques
Produce a financial budget and business plan, including Profit and Loss Account, Balance Sheet and Cash budget
Evaluate and explain financial information
Evaluate the fasability of financial business forecast
Use a spreedsheet to manipulate and present financial information
Demonstrate basic speadsheet design skills
Produce a group response to a case study challenge
