You will be involved in a range of learning activities including lectures, tutor led seminars, practical workshops and visits to organisations and research in your workplace. On occasion it may be possible to invite guest speakers from industry to come and talk to you about specialist issues. The majority of guest speakers are industry practicioners and give their time freely in order to support us. Please make every effort to ensure that you attend punctually for these occasions and prepare questions in advance. Good impressions created at this stage could be valuable to you in the future and will help to convey positive images of TVU in the community.
The learning outcomes of the module will be tested using two assessments. The first assessment will be a portfolio, which will be created during the study of the module and developed on a weekly basis. The second assessment will be an exam that will take place in exam week at the end of the module. Further guidance on the assessment can be found on pages 20-24.
