OBJECTIF DE LA SECTION


To improve students' use of business English at an introductory level.
To give the students opportunities to experience making management decisions through role play.
Introduce the students to the concept of ‘Self-evaluation' as a management tool for performance management and development on a personal, team and company level.
To prepare the students for the TOEIC exam.
To prepare them for work and study in the U.K. and N. Ireland.

Connaissances

Introductory Hospitality/ Business English terminology, expressions etc.
Begin to understand the formalities and routine of business meetings.
To understand the format of the TOEIC
The fundamental ideas behind the concept of Self-evaluation.
To understand the cycle of self-evaluation.
How to implement the cycle in your workplace.

- Case studies of the model in action.
- Designing an action plan around a scenario.
- ‘Business Roles'
- Role-playing through real-life business scenarios, using the ‘Board Meeting' as a vehicle, culminating in a hospitality-based scenario.
