Six visitors from TVU and four from Stratford started the day with a tour of the school, followed by a meeting to examine students’ work and review our Quality Assurance procedures. The visitors then met a group of students who represented the whole ‘cursus’ from ex-Foundation students to final-year Masters, all of whom praised the school and said they ‘felt well-supported and well-taught.’

An al-fresco buffet lunch followed, where the visitors met most of the teachers who deliver the Foundation and Bachelors degree.  After lunch everyone assembled to discuss any improvements which could be made to the modules and to the communication between all three establishments. The comments made were very favorable and all our partners ‘had full confidence in the management of the student learning opportunities’ at the school.

Students from the BA Top-up then invited all our partners to cocktails at the poolside.
All our partners met up in the evening to enjoy the regional delights of the Perigord at a restaurant in Perigueux.

Altogether the visit was a great success and our partners at TVU and SUAC were delighted to be associated with l'Ecole de Savignac and all partners agreed to pursue this most successful collaboration.

My thanks go to Florent and Hubert who organized a brilliant team who looked after our visitors in the usual ‘esprit Savignac.’
