École Supérieure de Savignac is a member of EuroCHRIE, the European, Mediterranean and African branch of the international organisation ICHRIE.
ICHRIE (International Council on Hotel, Restaurant & Institutional Education) is the most prestigious international organisation working for the quality of higher education in the hotel, leisure and tourism sector worldwide.
It brings together educators from hotel and tourism management schools and universities into a global network, in close cooperation with industry representatives. Under the direction of CHRIE, education and industry combine their efforts to improve professionalism, quality of services and competitiveness in the hotel and tourism sector.
Since its creation in 1991, this organisation has only elected 3 Presidents of French nationality. One of these was Richard Ginioux, Director of École de Savignac, who was elected in 2013. He said: “It was a great honour to represent École de Savignac at the highest level at INTERNATIONAL CHRIE (Council on Hotel, Restaurant & Institutional Education), an organisation which brings together the world’s 1200 best schools and universities specialising in the hotel, leisure and tourism sector. The aim of this organisation is to promote exchanges between its members and encourage projects in the field of training and research.”
