The certification of a training course (i.e. the registration of a qualification on the RNCP) makes it possible to know whether this vocational training is recognised by the State, but above all whether it is relevant to the job market. This title therefore guarantees easy access to employment for a given professional sector. The RNCP contains only certifications with a direct professional purpose and recognised throughout France.
This directory contains descriptions of each certification accessible by way of initial or continuing training or by validation of acquired experience (VAE).
Each entry specifies the competences acquired during the training, the appropriate job for the training, the sector of activity and the means of access to the training course.
Registration on the RNCP guarantees that the following 4 main criteria are met:
- The appropriateness of the training in relation to the skills required in the professional field concerned
- The reality of the professional integration of graduates: survey of the last 3 classes of graduates
- Consistency between the competence acquired and the level of qualification targeted
- The implementation of the procedure for the validation of acquired experience (VAE)
Therefore, these criteria guarantee students applying for a training course that it is registered on the RNCP. They also guarantee employers that the path offered to students is adapted to the evolution of qualifications and the job market.
