Campus

École Supérieure Internationale de Savignac is not a typical school. It can be found in the middle of the countryside in the Dordogne in South-West France. The campus is set in the heart of the village of Savignac-les-Églises. Students live on the campus and all around the School.

Why a campus in the countryside ?

The Dordogne Chamber of Commerce and Industry, which set up this project, wanted to put people at the centre of its new concept for a School. Putting this School in a unique environment was an obvious choice at the time. If situated in an urban setting, students would have been dispersed but at Savignac students live and work together in the same environment. The campus is an open space, a friendly centre and has a unifying factor. It brings students together and builds their team spirit on a daily basis.

The School has a good reputation for the quality of life it offers its students. The Dordogne is first and foremost a top tourist destination and a great place in which to live.

Campus facilities

The different areas of the campus, designed for student life, promote sharing and friendship:

Sports hall
Gym including weight training equipment
Student Club

The buildings that make up the campus have now been renovated. These well-designed and functional spaces have just been opened to students after an 18 month construction phase. In order to maintain its international status and remain a unique setting, the School decided to invest in the quality and comfort of student life on campus. The Dordogne Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCI) and its partners (Conseil Régional Nouvelle Aquitaine, Conseil Départemental de la Dordogne, etc.) invested the sum of 2.6 million euros in this project.

Teaching facilities

For their studies, students can make use of:

1 lecture hall/auditorium with 192 places
2 large teaching rooms with audiovisual equipment
10 classrooms with audiovisual equipment
8 meeting rooms for group work
1 resource centre called ‘l’Île Lettrée’
1 reception room
free wifi

E-campus

Students have access to an e-campus platform where they can:

consult their timetables
download lessons and resources (international exchanges, work placements, etc.)
examine bibliographic databases and other resources
upload assignments and homework

an institution

École de Savignac is a higher education establishment belonging to and managed by the Dordogne Chamber of Commerce and Industry. It trains managers in the hotel, catering, events, leisure and tourism sectors. This unique School, where everyone is part of a family, trains around 400 students every year over 2 training cycles ranging from Bac to Bac +5 (BA and MBA).
