Careers Service

École de Savignac has a Careers Service entirely dedicated to careers guidance and helping students prepare for their professional working lives. It prepares students for high-level international careers by working with a network of 700 partner companies and 2,500 alumni throughout the world.

Throughout the degree course, the Careers Department supports you and promotes your job prospects by working in a variety of areas.

Develop your career plans

You have opted for the hotel and catering sector, but you don’t yet know which branch of the sector to choose or which profession is right for you?

The School helps you to identify your career objectives and build on your professional and personal aspirations. To help you, you can benefit from regular individual and personalised support from consulting firms (personal development coaching).

Improve your job prospects

Whether you study management or marketing, you will learn how to make yourself attractive to the job market, in order to facilitate your integration into the working environment.

École de Savignac teaches you the skills you need to master in order to sell yourself to a recruiter as part of your strategy for a successful job search. You will benefit from training workshops on research tools with consulting firms: writing CV and covering letters, work on pitching your presentation, job interview simulations, use of professional social networks, etc.

This process, which starts at the beginning of the student’s degree course, contributes to the excellent placement rate of the School’s graduates.

The School works closely with a large network of partner companies. Their representatives come throughout the year to meet students. These are essential meetings for which you will need to be well prepared.

École de Savignac facilitates direct contacts and recruitment through numerous forums that enable students to meet with companies in the hospitality sector. You will be able to:

Our partner companies

Every year, École Supérieure Internationale de Savignac organises 4 to 6 forums:

Up to 60 companies from every sector of the hospitality industry come to the recruitment forums (Talent day) on the campus. You can meet representatives from the accommodation, restaurant, banqueting, events, luxury and leisure, etc. sectors.
The Job Fair is an event once a year in Paris and is aimed exclusively at Savignac alumni and students.

Business conferences

Regular conferences will improve your knowledge of the hotel and catering industry and help you to reflect on your career plans.

Teaching staff

The majority of tutors are industry professionals. They come from France and abroad. They usually stay at the School’s hotel and eat with the students. There is therefore a real mix and presence on campus. They will want to listen to what you have to say about your future plans.

Alumni

Savignac is a big family. Graduates are loyal to the School. They often return to Savignac and hire members of its network. With more than 30 years of experience, École de Savignac offers a large network of graduates who work in the various sectors of the hospitality, events and tourism industry.

an institution

École de Savignac is a higher education establishment belonging to and managed by the Dordogne Chamber of Commerce and Industry. It trains managers in the hotel, catering, events, leisure and tourism sectors. This unique School, where everyone is part of a family, trains around 400 students every year over 2 training cycles ranging from Bac to Bac +5 (BA and MBA).
