Careers Service

École de Savignac has a Careers Service entirely dedicated to careers guidance and helping students prepare for their professional working lives. It prepares students for high-level international careers by working with a network of 700 partner companies and 2,500 alumni throughout the world.

In short

  • More than 300 job offers received from leading groups in the sector, from graduates of the School and from specialist recruitment firms

  • More than 400 work placements are offered each year to students at Savignac, including about a hundred abroad

  • Outstanding professional employability thanks to personalised support and work experience integrated into the curriculum

  • A genuine and active network of 2,500 alumni, operating all over the world, which promotes the employability of young Savignac graduates. The School’s alumni association, Club Savignac, includes many senior executives and managers in the HR sector.

Personalised support for your job search

Throughout the degree course, the Careers Department supports you and promotes your job prospects by working in a variety of areas.

Develop your career plans

You have opted for the hotel and catering sector, but you don’t yet know which branch of the sector to choose or which profession is right for you?

The School helps you to identify your career objectives and build on your professional and personal aspirations. To help you, you can benefit from regular individual and personalised support from consulting firms (personal development coaching).

Improve your job prospects

Whether you study management or marketing, you will learn how to make yourself attractive to the job market, in order to facilitate your integration into the working environment.

École de Savignac teaches you the skills you need to master in order to sell yourself to a recruiter as part of your strategy for a successful job search. You will benefit from training workshops on research tools with consulting firms: writing CV and covering letters, work on pitching your presentation, job interview simulations, use of professional social networks, etc.

This process, which starts at the beginning of the student’s degree course, contributes to the excellent placement rate of the School’s graduates.

Support in your search for work placements

Every year, as part of your curriculum, you will carry out a work placement in order to:

  • Develop your skills
  • Work in the business world
  • Discover different tasks to help you choose your path

A dedicated person assists and advises you all year round in your research and during the work placements.

Meeting businesses

The School works closely with a large network of partner companies. Their representatives come throughout the year to meet students. These are essential meetings for which you will need to be well prepared.

Recruitment Forums

École de Savignac facilitates direct contacts and recruitment through numerous forums that enable students to meet with companies in the hospitality sector. You will be able to:

  • Find out about the professions and growth sectors
  • Improve your job prospects during professional discussions
  • Find a work placement or employment
  • Develop your professional network, thanks to meetings with the major players in the industry – your future employers: Accor Hotels, Louvre Hotels Group, Groupe Flo, Club Med, Sodexo, Compass Group, Hilton, Domitys, Hyatt, Partouche, Pullman, Groupe Alain Ducasse, Barrière Group, Le Crillon, etc.

Every year, École Supérieure Internationale de Savignac organises 4 to 6 forums:

  • Up to 60 companies from every sector of the hospitality industry come to the recruitment forums on the campus. You can meet representatives from the accommodation, restaurant, banqueting, events, luxury and leisure, etc. sectors.
  • The Job Fair is an event once a year in Paris and is aimed exclusively at Savignac alumni and students.

Business conferences

Regular conferences will improve your knowledge of the hotel and catering industry and help you to reflect on your career plans.

Teaching staff

The majority of tutors are industry professionals. They come from France and abroad. They usually stay at the School’s hotel and eat with the students. There is therefore a real mix and presence on campus. They will want to listen to what you have to say about your future plans.

Alumni

Savignac is a big family. Graduates are loyal to the School. They often return to Savignac and hire members of its network. With more than 30 years of experience, École de Savignac offers a large network of graduates who work in the various sectors of the hospitality, events and tourism industry.
