Business Creation Project (BCP)
Every year businesses solicit final year MBA students at the École de Savignac to analyse and make recommendations on their company projects as part of the students’ own ‘Projet de Création d'Entreprise’ module (PCE, in French, or ‘Business Creation Project’; BCP, in English).
The aim of the BCP is to enable our students – future managers – to be exposed to the realities of the business world while respecting the requirements of the businesses that have put their trust in them. The students have six full weeks to analyse the project and make strategic recommendations (financial management, marketing and communication operations, human resource requirements, respect of current legislation…)
Here is an example of a BCP carried out by our students :
FRV’Sens is a group formed by eight students on the École de Savignac’s MBA in Hospitality Management programme to realise a project for a bar-restaurant-wine shop, Le Muselet, in central Paris focusing on champagne.
From concept to implementation: To share, in a playful and interactive fashion, another way of drinking champagne and to become a reference in Paris for advice on champagne in a similar way to a wine bar.
The students’ aim was to propose a concept relating to champagne and to accompany it from conceptualisation to creation.
Result: The project came into being with the inauguration of the restaurant, Le Muselet, in May 2012. Today, it is going from success to success. Look here to find out more about this atypical Parisian restaurant.
