Meals

Catering at École de Savignac is managed by the catering company Sogeres. All students must eat lunch at the cafeteria.

Accommodation

  • On campus: the first year MBA students must live on campus in the residence managed by Mésolia: 300 € per month* for a room.
  • Accommodation close to the School: we can provide you with a list of addresses offering furnished lodgings next to the school (average cost: 320 €/month*).

Recruitment

  1. How does recruitment take place?

Recruitment takes place in two stages:

First of all, candidates must carefully complete the application form which they have been sent.

If you are eligible, you will be invited for two days of selection tests:

  • multiple-choice questionnaire tests in management and marketing,
  • you will also have to take a Business Management Aptitude Test, TAGE II.
  • an English test 
  • and a personal motivation interview

     

    What is the 150 € payment that accompanies my application used for?

This payment corresponds to the cost of sitting the tests and meals during your stay in Savignac.

  1. What are the selection criteria?

You must prove that you have, or are in the process of acquiring, a degree or equivalent in the hospitality and tourism sectors, or the equivalent professional experience.

We are interested in your school reports, in particular, your teachers’ appraisals. Above all, we are looking for motivated students prepared to commit to a demanding programme.

During the interview, your motivation, your knowledge of the sector, your appearance and potentially your career plan will be determining factors.

  1. Is there a deadline for applications?

We accept applications until the end of May.

  1. How long after my interview might I expect to receive a reply?

You will receive a reply, be it positive or negative, 10-15 days after your interview.

  1. How do I confirm my application?

The School’s letter of reply will also contain an inscription form to be completed, signed and returned to the School. For students from abroad, the 2,200 € deposit must be paid by bank transfer (please contact us to obtain our bank details). Reception and registration of your form and the bank transfer will serve as definitive confirmation of your inscription at École de Savignac, subject to obtaining your undergraduate degree or diploma/relevant experience mentioned above.

Accommodation and meals

  1. How do I find accommodation for my time spent at Savignac?

École de Savignac offers rooms belonging to Mésolia in the form of studio-flats above the School’s administrative buildings. These will be available when you enrol at the School.

  1. How does the cafeteria operate at Savignac?

École de Savignac has a cafeteria on campus. Students must eat their lunch there on weekdays. Evening meals are also compulsory for students living on campus.

Is the École de Savignac’s MBA diploma in Hospitality Management recognised by the French State ?

Yes, it is recognised by the French State in the RNCP (at Level 1) under the title “Manager des entreprises de l’hôtellerie, du tourisme et de la restauration (‘Manager of hospitality and tourism businesses’, Ministerial decree of 24 May 2013 published in the Journal Officiel on 16 June 2013 under the Code NSF 334p Gestion Hôtelière et Touristique).
