Partner universities : WHERE CAN YOU GO TO STUDY INTERNATIONAL HOTEL MANAGEMENT?
École de Savignac is at the heart of a powerful worldwide network of academic partners. To date, the School has signed agreements with 20 universities specialising in the hospitality and tourism industry over 5 continents. This opening-up to the world and multiculturalism prepares our students for international careers.
The benefits of an experience abroad
Experiences abroad mark a life and reveal personalities. Our reference points are turned upside down, our habits are put to the test and our preconceptions about others are shaken up. An experience abroad is a real challenge and offers countless learning opportunities. We discover autonomy, a sense of responsibility and courage. We also rediscover ourselves through the other culture: we become aware of what brings us together and what makes us unique. Faced with other habits, ways of doing things and cultures, we undeniably question ourselves and our relationship with others changes considerably towards more humility, tolerance and curiosity.
In the hotel industry more than anywhere else, an experience abroad gives students the necessary skills to know how to welcome others and understand their needs. It is a real springboard for a career, which enables personal and professional growth.
Opportunities around the world
These many advantages have prompted us to expand the horizons of our students. We have formed partnerships with 20 universities selected for the quality of their education, located in Europe, North America, Africa and Asia. Four continents for four radically different cultures.
In Europe, tourism is king. This continent alone accounts for more than half of the world’s tourism. Every country and city in Europe gives you the opportunity to meet travellers from all over the world and to learn about hospitality in a region rich in cultural exchange.
Asia, the second most visited continent, is renowned for the quality of its hospitality. Cultures that are orientated towards others and public etiquette have a lot to teach us about hospitality.
North America and Africa, third and fourth in the ranking of tourist destinations, offer unique cultures and visions of tourism. In America, the customer is king. The richness of the landscape favours local tourism and the diversity of activities. In Africa, you will often find an excellent welcome in a cultural context of unrivalled richness.
Academic exchange, work placement abroad or both?
The programmes at our School of hospitality management offer you the opportunity to study abroad. The university exchange is included in the second year of the BA in Hotel Management course. You can experience the culture of the host country and build an international network. It is interesting to then combine this with the exploration of intercultural management, as all hotel management placements can be carried out abroad, both in the BA and MBA courses.
