Participation
Our partner companies actively participate in the life and development of the School. They have a significant influence on the training of students and the quality of teaching. In addition to welcoming trainees in their establishments, their involvement takes many other forms. They take part in examination panels and advise on professional development. They are members of our teaching team, guest speakers at meetings and conferences, organise company visits, etc. The contribution of companies is essential in the training of future leaders in the hospitality industry.
Communicate with our students and enhance your visibility by actively participating in events that are part of our student’s career path at Savignac.
Would you like to participate in any of the following events? Do not hesitate to contact the School and we will discuss the conditions of your involvement.
Members of selection panels and examination panels
École de Savignac relies on the evaluation of its partner companies to select the future students of the School, even before they start their studies at Savignac.
Companies are also invited to sit on the end-of-year panels to review students’ presentations. Professionals sit alongside tutors and educational managers.
Professional development Council
The professional development Council is the strategic management body of École de Savignac. Once a year, it brings together professionals in a working group. Thanks to their expertise, they contribute to the evolution of training and educational programmes at the School.
The Council aims to:
- ensure the quality and suitability of the training courses at the School with the job market
- recommend the appropriate strategic direction in line with developments within the sector
- reflect on new opportunities for collaboration and partnerships, both in France and abroad.
The close relationships developed between Savignac and its professional partners enable the School to operate in line with the expectations and needs of companies in the hospitality sector.
Teaching staff
At Savignac, 60% of our teaching team is made up of professionals in the hospitality industry. We believe that nothing can replace experience. These experts are the best to pass on the skills which our future managers need.
Do you have a specific area of expertise and want to teach? Don’t hesitate to get in touch with us at the School. You might have the skills we need.
Business development assignments
Every year, entrepreneurs call upon MBA students to carry out a business project at the end of their studies. The aim of the business development assignment is to to give our students a taste for the business, enabling them to confront the realities of the professional world while respecting the requirements of the project sponsors.
The projects are based on real problems related to business development, such as the launch of a new offer or service, entering a new market, etc.
Students work in groups of 5 – 7 people and are guided by an expert. They have 6 weeks to do an analysis of the project, set out and present a business plan, recommending strategies including financial management, marketing, communication, HR and legal status, etc.
Some examples of business development assignments:
Do you have a business development assignment? You could benefit from the skills and creativity of our young professionals.
Consultancy assignments
Companies that offer management work placements to our MBA students also benefit from the advice of their trainees.
In fact, the students, as consultants, choose a specific problem in their placement company and provide solutions in the form of a professional report. Students are placed under the supervision of a mentor who helps with methodology and advises as required. This dissertation is carried out during Year 2 of the MBA degree course and is presented at the end of the year to a panel made up of teaching staff and professionals.
Case studies
Whatever the degree course and level, you can assign a specific project to a group of our students. These projects allow them to apply the knowledge they have acquired in class as part of their curriculum.
Students are invited to develop a strategy based on the company’s brief. They can carry out audits, analyses and market research, make recommendations, suggest new catering concepts, etc.
This is a win-win situation as you can benefit from their work and they get experience of real case studies.
Professional meetings and trade conferences
The campus at Savignac regularly organises events where leaders in hospitality come to discuss issues and trends in the sector. Following these events, students have the unique opportunity to network and discuss their career plans with these company managers and HR specialists.
Are you passionate about your job and want to pass on the secrets of your success? Get in touch with us at Savignac. Come and share your experience with us and our students.
Company visits
The BA students regularly visit outstanding businesses as part of their discovery of the hospitality industry. During these visits, students are interested in the organisation of the various activities, professions and daily operations of the establishment.
Would you like to share your business, your know-how and your experience? Don’t hesitate to get in touch with the School and open the doors of your company.
