With 30 years of experience, École Supérieure Internationale de Savignac is well-known in France and abroad as one of the best hotel management schools. It trains future managers and directors for high-level operational responsibilities in the hotel, catering, events and leisure sectors. It provides training courses that are recognised as being among the best post-baccalaureate programmes dedicated to hospitality.

Business and network experience

The professional experience is enhanced thanks to several long periods of work placements:

  • BA: 4 – 8 months of work placements integrated into the curriculum each year to explore the professions and the world of business
  • MBA: 6 – 8 months of work placements in strategic management positions.

Forums, business conferences, follow-up of your professional and personal career development, as well as advice from recruitment agencies, complete the professional programme. Throughout the year, you have the opportunity to meet and discuss with senior executives and managers in the hotel industry.

Languages and working/studying abroad

All our courses are taught in both French and English. They also offer the opportunity to build an international career through work placements and university exchanges.

Professional training

At Savignac, 60% of the lecturers who teach at the School are from the professional world. In order to prepare you as much as possible for the demands of the world of work, École de Savignac ensures that you regularly work on real cases encountered in the workplace. Placed in the position of a consultant and supported by specialists, you are faced with real professional challenges: you design and carry out market studies, business plans, diagnoses, and provide recommendations to companies that you have approached. Our Bachelor’s degree (equivalent to a Bac +3 degree)

Our Bachelor’s degree is ranked 3rd and 4th by the Eduniversal ranking of the best BA degrees in France for its “Business and Luxury Hotel Management” option and the “Catering and Events Management” option. Our BA is recognised by the French State and the hotel, tourism and catering industry, and has a success rate of 99% employment 6 months after graduation.

The main strengths of our BA degree

These rankings reward our efforts and commitment. The aim is to develop your employment potential in preparation for your professional career, while allowing you to grow and discover your own direction.

Our BA in Hospitality Management is a progressive 3-year degree course, taught in English and French from the first year:

  • Year 1 provides a common base, aimed at acquiring the basic managerial skills that are essential in the fields of hospitality and tourism;
  • Year 2 is a tailor-made year where you can choose between academic exchange, a long work placement or a humanitarian assignment;
  • In Year 3 you will choose a specialisation.

We attribute the success of this course to our teaching methods, based on entrepreneurial learning and student empowerment. By deciding on a tailor-made degree, you will be sure of a good balance between academic training and professional experience. By the time you graduate, you will have accumulated 11 to 17 months of experience in business and carried out numerous group projects on real cases encountered in the workplace. This is all under the supervision of a teaching staff, of which 60% are industry professionals, in a friendly environment and on a human scale.

The specialisations of our Bachelor’s degree

You can focus on your career plans while deepening your knowledge of the essential managerial skills required. Year 3 is one of 2 tracks:

  • Work-linked Track (sandwich course)
  • Standard Track

In the standard track, you can can choose from 3 specialisations :

  • Business and luxury hotel management
  • Leisure and luxury hotel management
  • Catering and events management

Our MBA (equivalent to a Bac +5 Master’s degree)

Our MBA is in the top 5 of the Eduniversal ranking of the best MBAs in France in the “Hospitality Management” category. Our MBA is recognised by the French State and the hotel, tourism and catering industry, and has a success rate of 91% employment 6 months after graduation.

The objective of our MBA is to train executives, managers and business leaders for the hospitality sector. In two years, our training, equivalent to a Master’s degree, aims to strengthen the sector’s culture as well as consolidate analytical, diagnostic and strategic decision-making skills.

Year 1 is spent learning on campus. The emphasis is on participating in the organisation of school life as well as group projects (workshops) to develop your managerial and leadership abilities, as well as written and verbal communication skills.

Year 2 is career-centered. It begins with a 6 to 8 month work placement in a company, followed by a return to the campus. On your return, you will carry out the following:

  • A consultancy assignment on a specific issue chosen by your placement company. This takes the form of a professional report, written under the supervision of a tutor;
  • A business development assignment working in teams of 5 to 7 students, responding to the requirements of a real project sponsor (external to Savignac). You create a complete business plan and benefit from the help of the many experts at our School.

This second year is crucial for acquiring and mastering the key concepts of business management.
