International Bachelor‘s degree in Hospitality Management: Option ’Business and Luxury Hotel Management’

In Year 3 of the Bachelor’s degree, students can specialise in ‘Business and Luxury Hotel Management’. This option is suitable for students whose career plans target companies offering accommodation to business and luxury oriented clients. The fact that clients are becoming more and more demanding, the business and luxury hotel sector requires professionals with strong management skills associated with detailed knowledge.

Objectives of the training for this specialisation

  • Acquire knowledge of the business and luxury hotel industry
  • Adopt the codes of excellence appropriate for the luxury hotel market
  • Understand the aesthetic dimension of luxury
  • Acquire the operational and managerial skills for the running of an international hotel
  • Develop linguistic knowledge and skills

2 major projects to complete

Consultancy Hospitality Project:
This module puts you in a consultant position with a client company. With your team, you will need to analyse needs, develop your problem-solving skills, and manage the counseling process. You will be asked to think critically, apply theory to practice, and develop counseling skills.

Strategic management in the hotel and catering industry:
This module deals with strategic management issues within the hospitality industry. You will be asked to solve a strategic management case study. You will have to collect and analyze data from a hotel company, carry out a diagnosis, make strategic development recommendations, plan their implementation, and finally defend these strategic options in front of the members of the expert jury. This exercise emphasizes professional oral presentations.
