AtÉcole de Savignac, every student is unique!

AtÉcole de Savignac, our commitment is to support our students from the very start of their career, even before they are admitted to our Bachelor's program. Our teaching method puts students at the heart of our teaching, focusing on their personal growth and development of their soft skills.

Active listening, non-violent communication and the ability to express ideas clearly are the keys to excelling in the hospitality sector. As a student, you'll learn team problem-solving, to create an inclusive, cooperative environment where everyone feels valued.

We attach great importance to supporting students in the development of their projects, whether professional or personal, helping them to clearly define their career goals. Whether their aspirations lead them towards management positions in the hotel industry, entrepreneurship or an international career, we support them in realizing their dreams and ambitions.

Personalized student support

At Savignac, personalization is a must! Choice is essential to the well-being of our students. We don't just offer a ready-made course with a pre-determined path. We listen to what each student really wants, and tailor our support to help them achieve personal and professional fulfillment.

That's why, right from their Bachelor's degree, students can choose from a range of experiences (an international stay or practical experience in the field during their 2nd year), several career paths (initial training or work-study, during their third year of the Bachelor's program as in the MBA), or even several specializations, including hotel management, catering management or event management.

We also consider involvement in associations to be fundamental. By valuing personal initiative and developing leadership skills through active participation in associative life, the School offers students the chance to forge deep relationships and evolve in an environment that is both stimulating and supportive. Hospitality management students are also encouraged to speak out and share their passions.

Career guidance

Every year,École de Savignac students meet with a consultant who is an expert in career coaching. She will pinpoint the strengths and weaknesses of each project. On the agenda: what to focus on, which sectors are best suited to the student's profile. This one-hour tailor-made consultation is a privileged moment that enables students to position themselves strategically on the job market.

In addition to these meetings, the entire teaching team is involved in the student's career. "My headmistress has been a great help throughout my career", reports Angèle, an MBA student atÉcole de Savignac. "I did my Bachelor's thesis on a human resources issue, which reinforced my interest in this field. Now, I'm continuing my work-study program at Savignac as part of an MBA with a focus on HR. It was thanks to his advice and guidance that I became aware of my interest in this area and decided to get more involved," says the student.

Helping students find internships and work-study programs

What if we told you that it's possible to learn how to become an ideal candidate on the job market, just as you would learn management skills? To this end,École de Savignac offers practical workshops led by job search professionals. You'll learn how to create an effective CV and (really) convincing cover letters. You'll perfect your presentation skills and benefit from job interview practice, as if you were face-to-face with the recruiter. Talent Day is an ideal opportunity to practice and find an internship.

The Careers Department also gives you access to its vast network of contacts in France and abroad. A dedicated member of staff is on hand to help and advise you all year round in your search for internships and work-study placements. Even when you're at work! In total, we have over 700 partner companies and 3,000 alumni around the world to guide you and help you choose your path.

Daring and entrepreneurship: the foundations of Savignac

At Savignac, every effort is made to turn students into autonomous, responsible professionals capable of managing a team. Teaching boldness and entrepreneurial spirit is an integral part of our mission. In fact, we're proud to say that many of our graduates have gone on to set up their own businesses, like Thibault Josse, who created Tangor, a restaurant and lounge bar in Laos.

Working in groups during workshops, you'll have the opportunity to bring your ideas to life, while learning to be daring and enterprising. This requires perseverance, flexibility and a willingness to learn from every experience, successful or not, in order to keep moving forward and innovating. And as Thibault so aptly puts it, "There are difficult moments, rough patches, uncertainties, but whether your business is a success or a failure, you always come away with something."

Supporting students after Savignac: a club to keep in touch

School's over... but what's next? At Savignac, we don't leave anyone out in the cold! In addition to regular communication between the administration and students, the school also benefits from a platform run by Club Savignac, the school's alumni network. This platform facilitates exchanges and the sharing of experience, and is brimming with professional tips and advice. Internship offers are regularly posted.

The platform also offers a directory enabling all Savignac members to contact alumni. Alumni also make themselves available to run workshops, webinars and meetings in France. Every year in March, the Club organizes a recruitment day for future graduates and alumni, attracting a wide range of professionals and sectors in search of talent.
