General principle

In accordance with the commitments of the Erasmus Charter for Higher Education (ECHE), the Bologna Process, and the European Commission’s ECTS Guide,École de Savignac the full and automatic recognition of credits earned through approved Erasmus+ mobility programs.

This recognition applies to study mobility programs, including hybrid programs, and to internship periods when these are an integral part of the curriculum.

Learning Agreement

Before the mobility program begins, an educational agreement is drawn up between:

  • the student
  • the home institution
  • the host institution or organization

This document states:

  • courses or activities taken
  • the corresponding ECTS credits
  • the requirements for validation
  • the course equivalencies specified in the student's curriculum

Any changes to the mobility program must be formally approved.

Recognition of ECTS credits

Credits earned during the mobility period are recognized provided that:

  • The planned activities were carried out
  • The academic results have been submitted
  • the commitments outlined in the Learning Agreement have been fulfilled

The number of ECTS credits awarded depends on:

  • the duration of the mobility period
  • of the relevant curriculum
  • level of education
  • the volume of approved educational activities

Special cases

In certain specific cases, particularly for certain vocational programs or systems that are not compatible with the ECTS, alternative recognition procedures may be implemented.
Recognition may then take the form of:

  • skills assessment
  • course evaluation
  • written report
  • defense
  • educational meeting
  • Europass Mobility
  • certificate of proficiency

Procedures in the Event of Academic Failure

In the event of academic difficulties or partial failure during the mobility period, the academic team will conduct an individualized assessment of the situation.
Appropriate solutions may be proposed:

  • make-up
  • partial validation
  • additional work
  • adaptation of the educational program
